As of November 6th, 2011, I am no longer reviewing e-books. My reasoning behind this is that the computer is pretty and shiny and holds fun things like Facebook and Twitter that are distracting. If I sit down to read online for too long, I begin to get distracted, wondering what my friends are up to. Soon enough I'm off wasting time, not reading like I should be.
Reviews are usually posted approximately 1-2 months after receiving the novel, or at a time of your request. My review will be honest, no matter if I loved or hated the book. I will not trash your book, saying only bad things and telling everyone not to so much as look at the book. I will stay as positive as I can, and remind other readers that it's just my opinion, theirs might be different.
*Please Note: I'm mostly
a fiction kind of girl, non-fiction really isn't my thing. So please
don't ask me to review anything non-fiction. I'm open to
reading/reviewing YA and (some) adult novels, but nothing middle grade
or for children. I will most likely say yes to any paranormal/urban fantasy, contemporary, or dystopian novels. I'm not a huge historical kind of girl, although if
it's YA I might consider it. I also am not a fan of magna. So please do
not ask me to review books of that sort. I will have to say no. And feel
bad about it. So don't ask me. Sci-fi and mystery aren't favorite genres of mine, but I wont automatically say no. If your book genre wasn't mentioned here, email me and take a chance!
